FAQ

Plain-language answers — starting with what Ops are, then how to buy, what each product covers, and how billing works.

What Ops are (and why they exist)

Before pricing: what “Ops” means here, the pain it removes, and why defined packages beat endless custom projects.

What are Ops packages at ScopedOps?

Ops packages are defined automations for a specific business job — lead intake, appointment show-rate, or home-service follow-up. Each package has a defined setup, a monthly care retainer, and a clear outcome. You are not buying “hours of consulting”; you are buying a scoped system that keeps running.

Why do small businesses need Ops automation?

Most revenue leaks are not strategy problems — they are handoff problems. Leads sit in inboxes. Reminders depend on whoever remembered. Missed calls never get a callback. Ops automation puts those repetitive steps on rails so the team spends time on sales and service, not copy-paste.

How do Ops packages save money versus manual operations?

Manual ops look cheap until you count no-shows, slow lead response, and owner time spent chasing follow-ups. Automation reduces repeat clerical work and missed opportunities. The monthly care fee is deliberately lower than hiring another coordinator to watch every inbox — while still keeping a human responsible when something breaks.

Who is ScopedOps for?

US small businesses that already have demand (or a site that must stay up) but lack a reliable operations layer. Typical buyers: agencies and clinics drowning in inbound, trades that miss calls, teams that outgrew spreadsheets but are not ready for a full enterprise stack.

How do Site Care, Ops packages, and Master Plan relate?

Site Care keeps the website healthy ($79/mo plus $149 ingest and onboard for WordPress, then other platforms). Ops packages automate a business workflow (setup + monthly). Master Plan is for buyers who need a build-ready blueprint and working session before committing to a package. Many clients start with Site Care or one Ops line, then expand once the first system is trusted.

Getting started

How do I get started with ScopedOps?

Choose an Ops package (or Site Care / Master Plan), pick hosting where relevant, then check out. After payment you book a 30-minute Kickoff. See the Kickoff page for how scheduling opens.

What is the Kickoff call?

A focused 30-minute session after purchase to confirm scope, collect access, and set the first delivery milestone. Learn more on the Kickoff page. If you are not ready to buy, you can request a qualifying conversation from that page.

What’s the difference between “On your tools” and “We host it”?

On your tools: we build inside apps you already pay for (Zapier, Make, CRM). We host it: we run the automation layer on our platform while your CRM and forms stay yours. Hosted usually costs more because we carry the runtime.

Why are seats limited?

Boutique capacity is intentional. We cap concurrent clients per package so monitoring and fixes stay responsive. Open seat counts are shown next to CTAs so you can see availability before you buy.

Packages and Site Care

What does monthly Ops care include?

We watch the automation, fix breaks within package limits, and make small improvements inside the original scope — not unlimited new builds every month.

How fast do you respond when something breaks?

Paying Ops Care and Site Care clients: P1 (critical path down — lead flow, booking confirmations, or the site) is first response within 1 business day. P2 (degraded) within 2 business days. P3 (small requests inside monthly caps) within 3–5 business days. Response means a human acknowledgment and next step, not always a full fix the same day. Business hours are Monday–Friday, Atlantic / Dominican Republic time, excluding local holidays.

Is Site Care the same as Ops?

No. Site Care is website maintenance — $149 one-time ingest and onboard plus monthly by platform (WordPress $79/mo, MODx $129/mo, hosted $149/mo). Custom stacks start with a $199 non-refundable evaluation. Ops packages automate business workflows.

Which platforms does Site Care cover?

WordPress ($79/mo plus $149 ingest and onboard), MODx ($129/mo plus $149 ingest and onboard), hosted builders like Squarespace and Shopify ($149/mo plus $149 ingest and onboard), and custom stacks that start with a $199 evaluation. You pick the platform before checkout.

What is the Site Care custom evaluation?

A $199 non-refundable consultation for legacy, headless, or unusual stacks. We determine what “healthy” means before care. If we take you onto Site Care, we may credit none, part, or all of that fee toward your first month(s) — depending on how much evaluation work the stack required. We’ll confirm before you subscribe.

Why does Site Care have a $149 setup fee?

Every WordPress, MODx, and hosted plan includes a $149 one-time fee on the first PayPal charge to ingest and onboard your website (access, backups, care roster), then monthly. Same fee whether the site is tidy or neglected. We do not add a second setup invoice after you subscribe.

Who pays for Zapier, SMS, or AI costs?

If we build on your tools, those subscriptions and usage fees stay on your accounts. If we host the middle layer, platform costs are included up to fair-use limits in your plan.

Billing and trust

Why does my PayPal receipt show a different company name?

ScopedOps is the brand you buy from. Payments are processed under Espiritusanto Acosta & Asociados. Full details are on the Billing page.
